Let’s see where do I start? When it comes to interests and hobbies they are never ending. I love dancing, swimming, art and fashion. My passion comes for being creative and everything that has to do with being free and expressive I love to give it a try. I been dancing since I was five years old started with taking kathak a form of Indian dancing. Through my years in high school and college I took other forms of dancing such as modern, tap, jazz and ballet. I love art and being able to express myself on a piece of paper. I have learned different forms of paintings and drawing during my early years. My mom put me a swimming lessons when I was younger, I remember crying when entering the water and now I feel like a mermaid in a pool. All thanks to my mom for helping me learn. Lastly, Fashion was a hobby developed on my own and I truly enjoy reading fashion magazines and blogs during my free time.

Why you entered The Miss India-DC Pageant?

To me participating in this pageant is about more than just winning. I believe that this pageant can help me work on my self-confidence and get to understand myself on a deeper level. I am excited about the overall experience of meeting new people and engaging into something that’s out of my comfort zone.

Talent you plan to do for pageant

The talent I would like to show case for this pageant would be a dance performance for the song Radha from the movie Student of The Year.

Open Text: (Ask people to come support you)

Being an Indian American girl my story is the same as many others out there but it would mean a lot to add the title of Miss India DC Pageant to my life story. So I would really appreciate all the support and encouragement I can get. Help make this dream come true 😉
