In the meantime- I would like continue growing my IT career and eventually own an interior designing business. Travel the world with a man I am madly in love with. Adopt kids. Adopt more Pitbulls. Why you entered The Miss India-DC Pageant?
In the last few years, work has taken over my life, which has forced me away from the one thing I love doing the most – performing. I have been performing since the age of 4 and I want to get back to something that has been a part of me since I was a young girl. I couldn’t think of a better way to get back on the stage then Ms. India DC, where, I get to share the love of performing by meeting many beautiful and talented young women.
What 3 words sum you up?
Persistent
Extrovert
Adventurous
What is an interesting fact about you that not many know?
I attending Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets, a Military Institute, for 4 years in college, however, lack of citizenship prevented me from becoming an Army Officer and put me in current career path as an IT consultant.
If you were a super hero, what would your super power be?
Female version of Tony Stark-Iran Man. I love the how he’s a self-made super hero who created the Iron Man armor! …Also so I could say I am “Genius, billionaire, playboy, and a philanthropist”
If you could take three things to a deserted island what would they be and why?
A Strong Man- Do to the heavy lifting
A Smart Man- To come up with creative ways of survival
A Sensitive Man- Who would listen to me to me cry about how much I miss my family and dog
Just kidding- I would take a journal/pencil to keep myself sane; lip balm because I highly dislike chapped lips- a girl’s gotta keep her lips juicy, never know who she might run into even in a desert :P; and a picture of my family so I could constantly remind myself of the people that I love the most in my life.
Most embarrassing moment:
It hasn’t occurred yet, thank God! But it would have to be me farting loudly in the middle of a group of people because according to all the guys I know, ‘girls are magical creatures that do not fart or go to the restroom’
Biggest inspiration:
My first reaction to this question was to answer with a single name. But that’s not how I feel.
My biggest inspirations are Humans: we are very strong and powerful. We don’t give ourselves enough credit. We all live such a unique life, filled with many inspirational moments. Everyone that I have met, heard about, or even talked about- has touched me or inspired me in some way. So my responsive would have to be: Humans, as a whole.
Worst nightmare:
At the moment- breaking my iPhone… AGAIN! In the past 6 months, I have dropped and broken in twice. *sigh*
But in my life- It would have to be losing my whole family in a car crash. Thinking about spending even a day without my loving parents, annoying younger brother (just joking Parth- I love you :p), and my beautiful dog Roxie- puts me to tears.
If you knew today was your last day on Earth, how would you spend it?
I would start-off my day by taking a long shower, it would be one of those days where I get to wash my hair (yes! I don’t wash my hair everyday- I am afraid of going bald). Put on a cute comfy outfit and get all doll-ed up. Drive to DC with all my belongings and my family to make donations to people in need. Try to motivate at least a single person to turn their life around by utilizing my things so that way I know that my legacy will live on even when I am not around.
Best piece of advice you’ve ever gotten:
Dr Seuss -“Today you are you, that is true than true. There is no one alive that is your than you!” Embrace who are you are. You wouldn’t be able to find a better cheerleader in life than yourself.
Where do you hope to see yourself in 10 years?
I hope to see myself at the next Angelia Jolie- A powerful women with a successful Career, with a gorgeous man like Brat Pitt by my side that I am madly deeply in love with, along with a parade of kids- some that are adopted and some that I made myself.
