It is one of my dream that came true. The pageant will help me to connect with my community and develop self-confidence. I want to participate in Ms. India to be an example for other young girls in our community who have so much talent that they can offer to our community and build their career in.
Talent: Punjabi folk Dance.
What 3 words sum you up? Ambitious, Energetic, and Genuine.
What is an interesting fact about you that not many know?
I am a religious person and read one shloka of Shri Bhagavad-Gita every day. Meditation and offering prayers to God is equally important as other tasks in our daily lives.
If you were a super hero. What would your super power be? If I can be a Super hero, kindness will be my power. Kind acts towards other make world a happy place. I will use my power to have the world as a most loving and happy place.
If you could take three things to a desert island what would they be and why?
My parents, siblings and friends. I know they are not things, but if they are with me, I can have everything wherever I go.
Most embarrassing moment?
One of my colleagues took off because her son was sick. I asked her the next day what happened to him? She said he had fever and, I replied just fever? (I meant to ask if the condition was worse), but she got upset and told me not just fever, he had fever. I felt embarrassed because for Indian mothers and children fever is not that serious condition, it can be taken care by home remedies. From than onwards I feel seriously sorry for people who may just have a scratch, it can be a big thing for them. I guess I have to stop using word Just.
Biggest Inspiration? My Father, who taught my siblings and me how to remain generous, fair and kind in every situation in life. His whole life is an open book of sacrifices and hard work. He inspired almost everyone in his life by making others life happy and living full.
Worst Nightmare? Lost a family member.
If you knew today is your last day on Earth, how would you spend it?
I am a religious person. If it is my last day, I will be spending it chanting, worshiping or reading any holy book.
Best piece of advice you have ever gotten?
Enjoy everything but do not forget your limits. I enjoy my life fully by doing everything that I want to do but never forget my roots, culture, and goals.
Where do you hope to see yourself in 10 years?
As I said earlier in 10 years, I want to have my own NGO. I want to make sure every child must go to school in the town where I settle down with my family. Education is a must and only door that open many opportunities.
