I love seeing different places and seeing how different each place is compared to my home state Virginia. I’ve been to most of the East Coast of the United States along with some places in Canada such as Montreal and Toronto. I still have the world to discover and I can’t wait to do that in the future. 3.Adventures: As the President of a club, we do a lot of adventures such as Water rafting, paintball, hiking, dance parties, and other social events. I love all these crazy adventures and socially getting more involved in the community and help bringing more people out to enjoy themselves with the community. Of course there are plenty of hobbies/interests that I have, these were a few. However there are also some really important ones like reading, working out, being involved and many more….

Favorite color:

My Favorite colors are Red, Lime green, Lavender.

What are you doing presently?

Currently, I am finishing my final year as an Undergraduate at George Mason University, majoring in Business Management and minoring in Sociology. I am also working as a Compliance officer in Washington D.C. along with being an Online Coordinator for a company in Richmond, Virginia. From Vice President to President (currently) in an organization at George Mason University, which involves letting people get more interactive in the community as well as building social ties around the community through adventurous events ranging from Water rafting to paintball, hiking, dance parties and many other activities. Very involved in organizations that help others better themselves

Future Plans:

In the future, I would like to continue my education and get a Juris Doctorate (Law School) and of course, have a great job. As of right now, I am open to opportunities, haven’t specifically chosen what else I would like to do, I also don’t want to limit myself and I know there are endless opportunities out there in the world and I want to be open to those ideas.

Why you entered The Miss India-DC Pageant?

The reason I participated in this pageant is because one of my colleagues just popped the idea in my head and I thought it was a good idea. After going to a few pageant rehearsals, this has actually led to me to think that this pageant is an excellent way of meeting great people, helping to better myself and working on my confidence level. It’s also a way to open many doors that I probably wouldn’t have known existed if I hadn’t participated in this pageant. “Take every opportunity you get”

Talent you plan to do for pageant

Dancing – Not sure of the song at the moment.

What 3 words sum you up?

What is an interesting fact about you that not many know?

A fact about myself that many don’t know is that I am a huge Introvert. Many think otherwise, but I love having ‘my time’, I would rather read than go out. This pageant is shocking for me because I’ve never dreamed of myself actually taking part in a competition. However, even though I am an introvert, I love challenging myself, even if that means getting on stage and doing something unbelievable.

If you were a super hero, what would your super power be?

If I was a super hero, I would want to have the ability to cure people of illnesses/diseases/pain and spread positive vibes. The reason I would like to have the ability to cure people is cause I’ve seen people close to me who have endured such harshness and it’s actually very sad to see such. I would like the ability to take this pain away from them and just give them happiness that everyone deserves. I would also like to spread the positive vibes to everyone, because we are all blessed and sometimes we forget that. We all deserve to happy and remember that we are blessed.

If you could take three things to a deserted island what would they be and why?

If I could take three things to a dessert island, the three things would be my family, an unlimited wish-fulfilling genie, Wi-Fi connection:

The reason I would take my family is because, I don’t think I could be happy without my family. My family means a lot for me and my happiness revolves around them. Coming home and seeing them each night is something that lets me sleep peacefully.

An unlimited wish-fulfilling genie would be amazing. I could just wish we were back home and he would fulfill that.

Wi-Fi connection for sure. I don’t know how people can survive a day without their phones anymore.

Most embarrassing moment:

Being asked to sing in front of a crowd, IT WAS HORRIFYING! Not a singer for sure!

Biggest inspiration:

My mom, the best mother that a daughter could ask for. There aren’t any words to explain how amazing my mom is. She’s one of the most courageous, calm, independent ladies that I have met my entire life. I can’t even be half of what my mom is. She’s one of my biggest supporters, even when I do something wrong, she’s always there supporting my back and calmly explaining the better solution. Blessed with the best.

The rest of my family is also the biggest inspiration in my life. All the hard-work they have done in their lifetime is extremely commendable. If it were not for my family, I wouldn’t be here. I wouldn’t be the person I am today. They are the rock to my roll.

Worst nightmare:

Hilary Clinton o The worst nightmares for me are the ones in which I continue falling and I don’t know what’s going to happen next or the ones in which I get this incurable disease. I hate those nightmares!

If you knew today was your last day on Earth, how would you spend it?

If I knew today was my last day on Earth, I would spend it around my family and saying my Goodbye to those who matter to me. I would also spend it dancing to show how great life has been and how blessed I am and have been.

Best piece of advice you’ve ever gotten:

The best piece of advice that I have received was actually through actions. Another fellow colleague that I associated myself at school with, this person was extremely hard working, dedicated, and someone that I wanted to be like. Words can mean differently to each and everyone but actually seeing hard-work, truthfulness, genuineness and innocence, that was something that made me motivated and work hard. I want to be like that colleague, accomplish and work hard for things I want. “To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.”― Ralph Waldo Emerson

Where do you hope to see yourself in 10 years?

In 10 years, I would like to see myself accomplished with a Law degree, working hard at any step that I take, happily married, living my dream and seeing little Raman’s running around.
