Shikha Kinariwala is a rising senior at Chantilly High School. She is an avid member of her school’s varsity debate, FTC robotics, and Model UN team, and has been a committed, classically trained Kathak dancer for most of her life. She believes that giving back to the community is the best way to make a real, lasting difference in the world, and does this by advocating for more female participation in STEM and being heavily involved in various charity projects with her school and house of worship.
Shikha’s hobbies include travels with her family, charity work, and getting involved with her school’s Amnesty International chapter. During her free time, she can be found reading, tutoring, or running STEM workshops for young girls. No matter the age or gender, Gaining confidence and leadership skills is key to be a humble role model figure, something Shikha plans to be by participating in the Miss India Dc pageant!
